Can someone clarify a fuel system q?

Can someone please clarify something for me?


I bought a B&M Commandflo, but decided that I want an AEM regulator. This means that I don't need the Commandflo, right?

I'm planning on ordering a Cartech. I want to make sure that the AEM and the Cartech will work together. I had this all figured out and somehow confused myself.

Also, are there any fitment issues with the AEM Fuel Rail???

You'll want to use a regulator in addition to your cartech. when I had a cartech I had it set up to where it was my only regulator. Under vac my fuel press would be like 23 and without vac it's be like 50. makes for great mileage while cruising but it didn't run as smooth as with another regulator.

Anyways can get a AEM FPR for $135 delievered and will be combining this with my CarTech based on what I have learned.

if you have the AEM regulator you do not need the command flow... for that matter if you have the cartech, you do not need the aem regulator, you can just use the cartech (although they say the transition from vac to boost will be smoother if you have another regulator)

Okay, that answered one question. The AEM does act as a replacement for the Commandflo.

My other questions are this:

1) Does the AEM and it's lower possible pressures work well with the Cartech?

2) Are there any fitment issues with the AEM fuel rail? It's tapped for an extra port and would be ideal for mounting a pressure gauge.
